We won’t forget Jon Tennant’s work for an Open Science Revolution

We share our deepest condolences for the sudden death of Dr Jonathan Tennant. Jon was a young brilliant scientist and a leading activist for the Open Science movement. His passion and commitment were and will always be inspirational for all of us.

Our collaboration for the Congress of Associazione Luca Coscioni in 2018, where he took part as a speaker, was only the beginning of a common battle that we will keep on supporting and promoting.

His fight for the right to access scientific knowledge and for the freedom and independency of scientific practice gave birth to the Open Science MOOC and to a vibrant community that shares his principles.

Jon’s fearless work for an Open Science revolution will not be forgotten. ‘
